Security Access 2000

Corporations and their security departments face a drastic change as companies and departments relocate, downsize and shift employee bases. Changes bring about challenges for those involved, esecially when it’s the security department that is being downsized. The bar code ID and access sytems assist in maintaining the necessary corporate security.

Access 2000 is a comprehensive, yet easy to operate access control system that allows your company to control and verify access at each entry point to your facility.

Access 2000 is a PC-based, bar code driven system. Up to eight external devices can be controlled and activated by the system such as : camera, motion detector, vcr, monitors, door alarms, etc.

Prior to entering, the employee/visitor is required to scan their id badge, in addition to entering a PIN number, access is allowed only after the employee id and pin number is validated against the authorized access database. All enter or exit activities will be logged into the system for traceability purposes.

An integrated video system is at each reader location. One camera outside is always operating.  When an employee punches in his or her PIN number, the camera inside switches on and the motion camera follows that person’s path.

As employees exit these bar code door locations, the interior CCTV - through motion - captures their activity. Once the interior reader has been accessed, the exterior camera is then displayed on the monitor to track their path. All this activity is captured on individual time-lapse recorders.
